OLLIE SMITH SCHOLARSHIP

Every year, the San Diego Regional Group awards scholarships
to students in the Ford Asset Program at Cuyamaca College.
The scholarship fund was established in memory of Ollie Smith,
founder of the San Diego Regional Group. Funding is provided through a variety
of fund-raising activities held throughout the year.
Applications are submitted by students in the
Ford Asset Program to the scholarship committee.

Since 1997, the San Diego Early Ford V8 Club
has distributed a total of $44,000 to 60 students in the Ford Asset Program.

San Diego Regional Group Member Brad McCombs, Ford Asset Instructor,
supervises the Ford Asset Program.
